In Oliwa, the part of Gdansk, there is a famous Cathedral of 14th century with splendid organ. The whole year the organ concerts take place here and in summer there is a Festival of the Organ Music.
Sopot is a bathing resort and spa, famous since the 19th century. Napoleon's former doctor, Jean Haffner erected baths here in 1823. Soon, Sopot became a popular venue for relaxation. Forest Opera, situated among wooden hills is a big attraction of Sopot. Next to Sopot is Gdynia, a modern harbour, base for the merchant and fishing fleet and seat of the Maritime Academy.
