Malbork Teutonic Castle

Malbork (located about 38 miles / 60 km from Gdansk) founded in 1276 by the Order of Teutonic Knights, was the seat of the Grand Master. The attraction of the town is its castle - one of the largest Medieval defensive systems in Europe.
In 1997, Malbork was put on the UNESCO list of the most unique monuments in the world.
The castle is a museum now. It contains weapons and Poland's largest collection of amber.
Buying "City Tours" ticket to Malbork you don't need to pay for an entrance fee in the Castle.
